Welcome to Sunkissed Stories!

In a quest to craft a space that will allow for me to delve into my creative energy, I started dreaming of a space that would allow me to just be “Me.” A space that would welcome my free-flowing ideas, quirky interests, and verbal word play. Out of anticipation to break free from the everyday norm, Sunkissed Stories was born. As the one and only “SunkissedTiff”, Sunkissed Stories will be used as a creative space to experiment with my writing, passions, interests, and on-going research. There are many topics, subjects, memories, and life experiences that I want to talk and write about. This blog will provide the opportunity to share in a space that gives the chance for me to personally express myself, while learning how to craft my own writing voice. As a writer, educator, and a visionary, I seek to expand the ways that I engage in public writing and scholarship. Currently studying Sociocultural Anthropology, I am passionate about topics analyzing social movements, politics of hair and beauty, identity constructions, racialization, world cultures, feminism, and gender/sexuality studies to name a few. My passions developed out of an eagerness to learn more about my own history and culture, while also being captivated by questions about society and the world.
